*Rising above the petty stuff and feeling so light

*Sometimes being a traditional 'orphan' has it's perks. They are few and far between but there are some but they don't balance out the downside but sometimes certain things happen or particular instances occur and I think to myself, 'self, sometimes it's better this way.' You know-like a Corona with a lime or a glass of milk with a chocolate cookie or a Jack with ice:)

Will & Grace is one of my fave shows. I now own the entire collection! Some days I really, really want to be Karen Walker......and have a Jack:)

From my Notebook

Late night. Special night. Staying up late to watch The Wizard of Oz. I am seven. This is my second time watching Oz. The first time, I was four and much more impressionable. Impressionable being a fancy way to say that I was too young for the flying monkeys and the green witch. They scared the 'be Jesus' out of me which really, when you think of it, wasn’t that hard as I didn’t have much Jesus in me at that point in my life anyways.

Sometimes or a lot of times, I will post passages from my writing. This is one of those times
